After years of success in the Baltimore restaurant scene, Chef Chad Gauss had a plan. With a vision in mind, to groom and grow all of those devoted to themselves and their craft, Hoopla Hospitality was naturally created. We love seeing people at their peak level of happiness, whether they work with us or choose to dine with us.

OUR BRANDS

The Food Market, where it all started, is a place where Chef Chad Gauss makes classics his own. Now, with Chef Nick Pasco at the helm, the tradition continues.

We chose Howard County simply because of how wonderful the people are. All of our management team in Columbia came up through the ranks at our other locations, and Chefs Chad Gauss and Clinton Kopas are excited to expand our footprint.

Bringing The Food Market to Bethesda was a natural next step. With the same inventive menu, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to genuine hospitality, our Bethesda team is proud to share the flavors and spirit that have made The Food Market a neighborhood favorite.

As opportunity knocks, we find the best person from within and create the same magic that we did with The Food Market. Using this as our foundation, we created La Food Marketa, where Chef Johntay Bedingfield pleases palettes with his fun approach to Central American cuisine.

Marketa at Vacation is an outdoor dining concept by Chef Chad Gauss located next toThe Food Market Columbia. We take great pride in our inclusive and positive work environment. We love seeing our staff grow into new roles, while remaining true to their passions, styles and goals. We are thrilled to have another restaurant in Howard County because the people are wonderful and the community is welcoming.

With people wanting us all to themselves, Hoopla Catering was born. Chefs Todd Lewis and Kat Humphrey, along with Head of Guest Relationships, Dori Chait, deliver our full “Hoopla” experience to every table, wherever the table may be.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT

Supporting our Baltimore community is a consistent and important focus throughout our entire brand. Look for us participating at non-profit events and galas, block parties, and festivals while we cook for our guests, interact with our community, all while helping local organizations and neighborhoods raise money for their causes. As we continue to grow, our commitment will remain strong.
